Flexible Heating Strips are used where low temperature is required. They are preferred where mounting needs to be easy. They are made up of knitted fibre-glass yarn with the NiCr resistance wire wounded inside it. It is insulated completely by the fibre-glass yarn. As it is flexible it can be installed anywhere depending upon the shape of the vessel or wrapped around a cylindrical or any surface.
