Uses :
They are
used for both forced (mounted in a duet)
& natural convection air heating
(mounted at the bottom of cabinet type
ovens).
Construction :
These heaters are
similar to that of strip heaters, tube
air heaters but rectangular fin are
fitted on to the strip heaters & round
fins on tube heater so as to obtain
maximum surface area, higher thermal
conduction. Both strip finne & tubular
finne is provided with easy mounting
arrangement. For tubular finne is
constructed in any shape & also in high
temperature. Strip finned minimum length
150mm to 1200 mm long. These are
designed for horizontal mounting.
Working Temperature :
Up to 350°C,
500°C depending upon sheath & fin
material & process application.
